Baked Chicken - Lemon & Herb Thighs

Posted by Rachel Whitfield on

This recipe is so simple that you're going to wish you had seen it sooner.

A baked chicken recipe should be quick and to the point, but not lacking of any flavor. This week for meal prep, I decided to give this one a try on chicken thighs and I only used one seasoning. Yes, Chef Curl Ardee's Lemon & Herb Seasoning was the clear winner in this dish that I'm sure you're going to enjoy.

What You'll Need:

Chicken Thighs (4)

Chef Curl Ardee's Lemon & Herb Seasoning (Salt Free option works as well)

Worcestershire Sauce (1 Tsp)

Butter/Cooking Oil

Steps:

Add chicken to a bowl or dish for marinating and add Worcestershire.

Sprinkle 2 tbsp (or more) of Chef Curl Ardee's Lemon & Herb Seasoning while coating each thigh with as little or as much seasoning as you desire.

Optional but recommended: Marinate for 3/4 hours but no longer than 24 hours in a sealed container in the fridge.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Add 1-2 tsp of butter to a skillet on medium to high heat to brown the outer skin of the chicken thighs. Be mindful, you're not going to cook the thighs with this method. With proper heat, searing/browning should not take longer than a minute or two.

Optional: Slice half a lemon into thin strips for garnish and add a sprig of fresh rosemary and/or thyme as well.

Remove the skillet from heat and with the skin side of the thighs up, and garnish with slices of fresh lemon and fresh herbs and bake until chicken is thoroughly cooked (approx 35 minutes).

Serve hot and enjoy!
